Tank Traders® is a new division of Vomar Industries Inc. Vomar Industries Inc. was originally known as Vomar Painting & Sandblasting and commenced operations in 1995 under the direction and sole ownership of Marcel Vouriot.

The business specializes in the reconditioning and certification of used propane cylinders of all sizes, as well as, the sandblasting and painting of agricultural implements, large propane dispenser units and other equipment. The propane cylinder reconditioning evolved directly through the sandblasting and paint work of Vomar Painting & Sandblasting.

Vomar Industries Inc. is located just outside of Winnipeg in La Salle, Manitoba and has been reconditioning propane tanks in accordance with Transport Canada regulations for more than six years. Vomar Industries Inc. supplies reconditioned propane tanks to approximately 100+ commercial customers throughout Manitoba, Winnipeg and Ontario and employs eight full-time staff. We are pleased to include Home Depot, Wal-Mart, Red River Co-Operative, Superior Propane, Ford New Holland, and other equipment dealers as our valued customers. Propane cylinder clients include an extensive network of Mohawk, Tempo, Shell, Esso, Co-Op and smaller independent gasoline stations throughout Winnipeg and Manitoba, as well as, rural hardware and general stores.Regularly scheduled deliveries are provided to all of our customers, as well as, a free pick-up service for discarded or outdated cylinders.

Vomar Industries Inc. has grown extensively in the last six years and is now the largest manufacturer of reconditioned propane tanks in Manitoba. Vomar Industries Inc. is prepared to meet the challenge of increasing consumer demand for convenience and environmentally friendly products.
