Tank Traders Barbecue Tank Exchange Program

The Program

Retail customers “buy-in” or join the Tank Traders® Exchange Program by purchasing one full Tank Traders® tank from your location. When that tank is empty, they return to your location and trade it in for another full tank - for only the cost of the propane. No waiting in line to have their BBQ tank filled and they receive a clean, certified tank every time.

Marketing

Tank Traders® will be pleased to work with you to develop and maintain your Tank Traders® customer base. We will provide brochures for distribution and feature each of your locations on our Tank Traders® website.

Storage Cages & Display of Tanks

Each cage holds twenty-four (24) tanks and presents a positive and attractive outdoor display. All appropriate hazard signs and Tank Traders® signage is provided with each cage.

Delivery and Service

Tank Traders® will provide regularly scheduled deliveries of tanks based on consumer demand and volume requirements of each location. Our customer service representative will remove all empty cylinders, refresh supplies and ensure the cages, signage and surrounding area is kept clean and maintained.

After the initial purchase of one full cage of tanks, our Tank Traders® Service Representative will make regularly scheduled visits to review your inventory, replenish your supply of full propane tanks, remove empty traded tanks and any tank cores you have accumulated.

Education and Training

Tank Traders® will provide product knowledge training to all staff as required. This will include the benefits and features of the Tank Traders® program and answers to some common questions regarding the program.

We believe the Tank Traders® program will give you not only the opportunity to acquire new customers by providing a new innovative product, but also the means to compete in the marketplace with service stations offering propane filling services. Customarily a consumer would make a one time purchase of a BBQ tank and then regularly visit a propane dealer to have it filled. The Tank Traders® program has been designed to generate repeat business, return traffic and bring that customer to you.
